This website centers on showcasing photographs with an emphasis on the photographer’s most recent work. I used a theme that allows images to be uploaded quickly and easily, directly from photo editing software with minimum hassle. The most recent photos are shown on the home page and are then categorised for easy access.
It has a stylish feel to it, has an attractive comments function and is Twitter and social media enabled. The posts are Search Engine Optimised, driving lots of traffic to the site.

Related post thumbnails at the foot of each post. This means that the viewer is more likely to stay on the site by browsing onto another page that may be of interest. Online Gallery with full password, preview and download facilities. This gallery facility actually sits on a third party system called Zenfolio, a leading online photo proofing service. It is integrated seamlessly into the main site and even uses the same colour scheme and font.
Post Summary Index allows the viewer to quickly browse a number of posts before diving into them in detail. These come complete with “teaser” or “hook” pictures.
